James Grigg

James graduated from the University of Chichester with a first class honours degree in Sports Therapy, one of only two in his year to achieve this level. He is a member of and fully insured with the Society of Sports Therapists.

In 2006 James was hand picked by the Society of Sports Therapists to represent the UK and was awarded the annual Sports Medicine Scholarship. This high accolade included an all expenses paid trip to Virginia Commonwealth University USA.

Whilst there, James worked alongside some of the most respected medical practitioners and gained invaluable experience from many different areas.

During his stay he also worked closely with Richmond University American Football Team, Virginia Commonwealth University Basketball Team, The Virginia Medical and Research Centre and The Virginia Pre & Post Surgery Department. He was also asked to guest lecture on muscle related pain and treatment protocols.

Since his return to the UK, James has worked and gained experienced with Bournemouth Football Club and many Chiropractic/Physiotherapy clinics. He is a regular attendee of International Sports Medicine Conferences and Physiotherapy seminars. In an effort to fully understand each individual’s pain or discomfort James also has further qualifications in Podiatry, advanced Trigger Point Treatment and Psychology.

Using the very latest treatment techniques, from both the UK and USA, James’ approach is always focused on finding and treating the underlying cause to each problem area. Rather than just simply treating the symptoms, his aim is to always treat the root of the problem and educate each patient on how it can be prevented.
