OUR SERVICES

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Most injuries, aches or pains can be quickly and effectively treated with physiotherapy.
Our physiotherapy sessions combine manual therapy, joint mobilization, posture education,  exercise prescription and other services to recovery all the symptoms.

We assess the muscles, joints and neural systems to ensure the underlying cause is identified and treated properly.

You will be thoroughly assessed and your injury examined. We will then discuss your diagnosis, your goals, likely outcomes,  time frame and give you ways you can help speed up your recovery at home.

We place huge emphasis on identifying and correcting the underlying cause of the problem and work towards preventing

re-occurrence.

THERAPEUTIC AND SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports & Therapeutic Massage is one of the most effective therapy for treating muscle pain, tension and restoring balance to the musculo-skeletal system.

Therapeutic massage relief from everyday aches, reduce stress, increase relaxation, address feelings of anxiety and tension and aid general wellness. It can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries.

Sports massage is not just for sports people. If you sit at a computer screen frequently, drive long hours or have a manual job a massage could benefit you greatly, particularly if you suffer from postural problems.

Given that many injuries occur due to lack of muscular balance, this is a critical tool in both prevention and treatment.

GAIT ANALYSIS

Gait analysis is the systematic study of human motion, using the eye and the brain of observers, augmented by instrumentation for measuring body movements, body mechanics, and the activity of the muscles.

Gait analysis is used to assess and treat individuals with conditions affecting their ability to walk. It is also commonly used in sports bio-mechanics to help athletes run more efficiently and to identify posture-related or movement-related problems in people with injuries.

The study encompasses quantification (i.e. introduction and analysis of measurable parameters of gaits), as well as interpretation, i.e. drawing various conclusions about the animal (health, age, size, weight, speed etc.) from its gait pattern.

EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION

Exercise prescription is a specific plan of fitness-related activities that are designed for the client. This specialized program uses a mix of various fitness related exercise and movements and manipulations to provide the best results.
We cater to the specific and unique needs and interests of the client/patient and the goal of exercise prescription is successful integration of exercise principles and behavioral techniques which proves to be extremely beneficial.
Formulation of individualized exercise program based on exercise
frequency, intensity, and duration with consideration for the specificity of the training response, specific to the prescribed exercise method, thus achieving goals.

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a non-invasive treatment which involves breathing about 97% oxygen through a mask whilst under pressure in a specialised hyperbaric chamber. Due to the pressure and concentration of oxygen being breathed in, the concentration of oxygen in the body is increased. The increased oxygen is carried round the body.

All body fluids (plasma, lymph, cerebrospinal and interstitial fluids) become capable of oxygen delivery at the cellular level, so HBOT increases tissue and cellular oxygen levels, which decreases inflammation, initiates the growth of new blood vessels and promotes the healing of tissues, including the brain. Oxygen is able to reach areas of the body previously inaccessible by blood supply or blocked by damage.

CUPPING WITH SPORTS MASSAGE

Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction facilitates healing with blood flow.

Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This can relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

We do two main categories of cupping therapies -

  • Dry cupping is a suction-only method.

  • Wet cupping may involve both suction and controlled medicinal bleeding.
